Selena Gomez - an international singer and actress - is well-known worldwide. She is the star of Disney program Wizards of Waverly Place is one of her most successful shows. Selena Marie Gomez is her full name. The full title is Selena Marie. Parents are Amanda Cornett and Ricardo Gomez. Her mother Amanda Cornett, who was 16 when Selena was conceived. She was born in 2009 and Selena landed her first part in the show industry as Gianna when Barney and her Friends. She was one of the children that were the only human-like purple dinosaur ever created. Selena was a part of several episodes of episodes 7 and 8 between 2001 and 2003. Fun fact: Selena is not the only performer to have appeared on Barney and the Friends in this time period. Demi Lovato also was part of the team that starred in the show. After leaving the series Selena Gomez auditioned for several parts in different programs and movies, but she was not much success.
